Oshkosh Public Museum

January 17, 2018

As seen in the January/February issue of Museum, an American Alliance of Museums publication

“People of the Waters” explores prehistoric and early life in Oshkosh and the Lake Winnebago region over a period of 13,000years. The key storyline and interpretive elements of this experience link strongly with the state’s fourth-grade curriculum, including how the Ice Age formed Wisconsin’s natural features, how early people in this region lived, and the impact of the fur trade.
