New exhibits for Warner Nature Center include interactive nature-oriented exhibits. Hand painted murals depicting the same scene in winter and summer help children observe the seasonal changes in plants and animals. Puppets are hidden inside a crawl–in tree. A prairie mural depicts the plants, animals and management techniques that can be seen at the Centers prairie.
Elsewhere in the exhibits, visitors can open a door on the side of a super sized pitcher plant to discover a fly drowned inside the plant. Aquariums, a night world diorama with interactive sound and lighting, and other exhibits complete the experience.
