Frankfort, Kentucky Exhibit Size: 18,000 square feet Services Performed: Research, Writing, Concept Development,Design, Fabrication, and Installation Split Rock Studios recently completed the design and production of a major permanent exhibit for the new Kentucky History Center. This exhibit is divided into eleven distinct galleries, each with its own specific interpretive goals, themes, and content. Walk-through historical environments provide a framework for understanding the various eras in Kentucky’s history and serve as museum-theater backdrops for costumed docents to present interpretive programming. Adjacent interactive thematic areas provide further interpretation and highlight the museum's extensive collection.
