We got our start over 35 years ago when Split Rock Studios was known as Deaton Museum Services. In 2000, a small group of senior employees purchased Deaton from its parent company and renamed the firm Split Rock Studios. The entire Deaton staff is now part of Split Rock Studios, and we have added talented new people to our team. With Split Rock Studios, you get the high-end professional talents of an exhibit team that is experienced in working together – without paying for the overhead of a much larger firm. Our new company can provide better and more personalized service. In establishing Split Rock Studios, our intent was to move our exhibit firm into the next generation.
